Coming Together to Make a Difference

Inspired to Serve

High Speed Alliance (HSA) founder and retired dentist Dr. Forrest Bryant and his wife Carol have always prioritized helping people from all walks of life. When they see a need, they feel compelled to investigate options for supporting the individual or group under duress. So when a former employee’s daughter developed cancer and the disease ultimately threatened the family’s finances and the couple’s marriage as well as the life of their adored daughter, the Bryant family could not simply sit by. Instead, they provided help with travel and medical expenses and, when the marriage seemed in jeopardy, lent the couple their beach house as a marriage retreat. Ultimately, both the child and the marriage were cured, and the Bryants had, once again, witnessed and facilitated a firsthand demonstration of how personal and professional lives can successfully and productively intertwine.

Out of that discovery, the HopeServeAction Foundation (HSAF) was born.

From its inception, HSAF has been a passion project intended not just to instill hope in both individuals and families that have been hurt, experienced illness, suffered injustice, or simply been forgotten but also to provide a means for the HSA community to come together to effect powerful, productive, lasting change in individual lives and broader communities. HSA has long been a vehicle for improving the lives of its members and supporting those members’ work in their own communities. Now,  the Bryants believe the time is right for the HSA community to work together to exponentially increase the good each individual member is already doing. Importantly, HSAF will serve as a vehicle for tax-deductible funds that will be used to help individuals and groups in need identified by members of the HSA community.

“The HopeServeAction Foundation was born to impact the lives of those experiencing difficulties and hardship and to support groups and organizations making a meaningful impact in the lives of these people,” Carol Bryant explained. “We want to free families from the stress and burden of difficult or unfortunate circumstances, but also assist families with financial planning and developing life skills that will enable them to make the most of this opportunity and, in the future, improve the situation for others as well.
